Don't Back Down

The Message

Luke 33:17 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.

True believers are risk takers. What is stopping you from sharing your faith? Is it fear or concern that people will look at you differently? Honestly, my concern is two fold - that people just don't care about spiritual stuff or I am a little selfish and simply don't think about it.

The truth is that God doesn't really need little old me to fulfill His plan. He is looking for someone who is willing and that person will get what could be my blessing. When we listen and act, we get the chance to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.

Your challenge is to step out and be spiritually spontaneous. We have the keys to the Kingdom but we need to invite others in too. Whatever your call is will most likely come to you as a whisper-so listen carefully and prayerfully.

The next time you are given an opportunity, act like a true believer, take a risk and DON'T BACK DOWN.
